Charlotte Sapene, originally from Venezuela, is a visual artist who narrates her personal story through nature. Navigating experiences with anxiety, OCD, dyslexia, and the neurodivergent spectrum, she weaves vulnerability into her practice. She holds a Certificate in Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art and a foundational degree in architecture from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.

Her current series, Kavanayén, invites the viewer on an intimate journey through imagined landscapes—built from memory, dreams, and the unconscious. Through this body of work, Sapene explores themes of belonging, spirituality, emotional duality, and the relationship between nature and the soul as a last refuge. Her compositions are defined by rich textures and layered brushwork, engaging the viewer in a tactile and emotional dialogue that reexamines the perception of identity.

Sapene’s work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private and institutional collections. Her practice has been featured in publications such as British VOGUE and Create! Magazine.
